Ammaarah grew up in Klerksdorp, a hub of mining and agricultural activity. After matriculating from Al-Huda Muslim School in 2014, she obtained her LLB degree from the North West University. She then relocated to Cape Town for a short four months to complete her Practical Legal Training at UCT (LEADSA). Upon returning to Klerksdorp, she completed her articles and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in October 2021. Subsequently, Ammaarah was also admitted as a Conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa in March 2023.

In August 2024, she relocated once again, this time to Stellenbosch, to join the Rufus Dercksen Inc. team, where she assists in the Conveyancing and Commercial Law departments.

After a long day of work, she enjoys swimming or playing padel. On weekends, she loves spending time outdoors, exploring nature, markets, or festivals. Additionally, she has a passion for gastronomic experiences and cherishes spending time with her family.
