Anje’s Pretoria roots became firmly planted in the Western Cape during her schooling years.  She matriculated at Overberg High School in 2017 and obtained her LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch during 2021.  She completed her candidacy at a law firm in Stellenbosch at the end of 2023 and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in February 2024, whereafter she joined the Rufus Dercksen Inc. team. Anje is assisting the team with litigious as well as commercial matters.

Anje derives much of her energy from spending some quality time with her loved ones.  Other than honing her skills in the legal profession, she thoroughly enjoys sporting- and outdoor activities, whether it be running, cycling, playing a game of squash, or hiking.   She firmly believes that focus is central to one’s direction, and in combination with a little ambition and resilience, the opportunity for growth will never be too far away.
