I grew up in a small town of Namaqualand and matriculated in 2002 at Hoërskool Vanrhynsdorp. I moved to Cape Town in 2004 when I started my law career as a Candidate Attorney registering for the 5 year articles of clerkship; gaining extensive knowledge and experience in various fields of the law while studying towards my law degree via UNISA at the same time.

I graduated in 2013 and was admitted as an Attorney in 2014. I joined Rufus Dercksen Inc in April 2022.

Outside of the work environment I love visiting my hometown, reading 17^th – 19^th century British Novels and a walk on the beach once in while.
